Taylor Hicks was once victorious on the hugely popular American Idol. He's currently a performer in the Broadway adaptation of Grease. Apart from his fame, however, Mr. Hicks is a landowner at The Oaks, and he thoroughly enjoys the North Alabama area, particularly Lake Guntersville.This recent article in The Land Report highlights Hicks' love for the area, especially the 69,000-acre lake. In fact, long before Hicks found television and Broadway fame, he used to perform at The Docks restaurant in Scottsboro, Alabama, which is just down the road from his current property in The Oaks.
