Grand Opening Celebration at Goose Pond Island, AL

Featuring American Idol winner and recording artist Taylor Hicks (who owns property in The Oaks), fishing legend Jimmy Houston, and celebrity chef Shirley Dawson, the event was a celebration of the completion of the infrastructure and amenities at The Promenade and The Oaks. Over $1 million in sales were conducted over the weekend.
Great weather made it possible for Houston to do some bass fishing on the lake. Many current property owners attended and were more than willing to give accounts of their experiences with Alabama Shoreline, as well as opinions about The Promenade and The Oaks.
