Wilmington, NC #2 Best Performing US City in 2007

The Milken Institute, a publicly-supported independent economic think tank, released their rankings of the top performing US cities recently and Wilmington, NC finished 2nd overall.
Milken's Best Performing Cities Index considers factors such as job growth, wage and salary growth, and technology growth on both a long-term (5 year) and short-term (1 year) basis.

"Wilmington's emerging economy and high-tech jobs creation at local employers like PPD and GE are some of the main factors driving the active real estate market in the region. Our community, Sans Souci on the Cape Fear, is the newest and closest community to the vibrant downtown area," said Dean Satrape, President of Watertree Properties NC.
