Each spring, The Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife stocks a select few rivers with trout. Luckily for those nearby, the Deerfield River is one of these. Renowned as being one of the hardest working rivers around (numerous hydroelectric dams draw power from its current), the River has plenty of leftover strength to support an amazing ecosystem, as well as provide fun for rafters, kayakers, fishermen, and campers.Visit the Mass DFW Trout Stocking page.
