A Truly Fantastic Testimonial

Not all testimonials are the same. After Green Country Shoreline purchased the land that would become the site of The Preserve at Grand Lake, former owner Mark Lee remained slightly skeptical. Would Green Country Shoreline hold to their word?
Well, here we are, months later, and we've received perhaps the ultimate in sincere approval from Mr. Lee. Although much longer than your typical testimonial, please take the time to read his words.
"Let me first introduce myself and my connection to The Preserve. My name is Mark Lee and I am one of the former owners of the property that is now called "The Preserve". My family had owned this property for over 60 years when we decided to sell to Jim Barbuto and Redstone Properties. As you might imagine, a spectacular piece of property like this is not easy to let go of, especially when it has been your home for your entire life. So when the difficult decision was made to sell, that presented an even larger and more difficult decision, who to sell the property to.
"We had several offers on our property but all the offers came from developers with less than stellar track records that were interested in one thing and one thing only; how to make the most money with least amount of money invested. Basically, all the developers that came before Jim and Redstone, wanted to rape the land and didn't really care about the finished product.
"Jim Barbuto's approach was 180 degrees in the other direction of the developers that we had spoken to prior. There was a real sense of land preservation and environmental concern when Jim spoke of how their developments were produced. At first, I was a little skeptical, but after Jim provided many examples of finished Redstone developments throughout the country I became more convinced that Jim Barbuto and Redstone were the company that we would sell to.
"Now over a year later I am convinced that our family made the right choice selling this sacred piece of land to Jim and Redstone. Everything that we agreed to in our sales contract he has complied with and then some. One of the perks of having a company like Jim Barbuto and Redstone develop a lake property on Grand Lake, is that collectively, they have many decades of experience developing lake properties. This isn't their first rodeo. They take their time and they do the job right the first time. And the proof is in this development' for example; instead of clearing all the timber with bulldozers, Jim hired a crew of men to come in and literally by hand clear all the under brush and raise the canopy. This process took a lot more time and surely cost three times as much.
"Probably the best endorsement that I can give Jim and Redstone is that I have always found them to be honest. Whatever they said they will do, they have done. They have had the opportunity to cut corners and save money and the expense of the property but have not. They are turning out what I believe to be the most environmentally attractive and well thought out development on Grand Lake.
With Sincerest Appreciation,
Mark Lee"
