Holland is a classic small New England town located at the southeastern corner of Hampden County on the Massachusetts/ Connecticut border. This largely rural residential community has a year-round population of approximately 2,100 which nearly doubles during the summer months due to vacation home owners lured to the area by the recreation opportunities of Hamilton Reservoir, Holland Pond, and the Quinebaug River.
